- Here is a sampling of what is new this year
- - New Student Wellness Center on the second floor
- - New location for the Parent Community Room
- - New school hours- first bell 8:20, late bell - 8:30am- dismissal at 3:30
- - New blacktop on the lower yard
- - We welcome new students and staff and welcome back returning students and staff
- - New community partnership with 826 Valencia- student writing support project
- - New Safe School Ambassador program
- Reminders:
- - bring in lunch card, emergency form, $3 planners, 2 PE forms returned (behavior and uniform)
- - We will sell bulldog sweatshirts at back to school night
- - The tardy room started today- any student late to school spends the first period in the TR and must
- - meet with their teacher to get the work they missed.
- - Remind kids to leave cell phones in the backpacks and turn off during the day.
- - No hats in the building- only during lunch outside
- - School actually gets out at 3:28pm!
- - Girls softball tryouts again on Friday
- - Boys baseball tryouts start Tues.
- - Boys and girls basketball tryouts will be in mid Sept- around the 17th.
- - Volleyball tryouts week of Dec. 10
- - Soccer- not posted yet but mid/late October or so.
